I just found this while doing a Google search. I would love to be able to take credit for this pencil test, but I just did the computer end of the pencil test, scanning and painting the drawings and making the movie file. Mael was the animator on this shot. I was the lead assistant animator, however for the end credit sequence for The Boxtrolls. - JD
